First Post from Oxford!

Hello all!

I am so excited to be blogging from OXFORD! I've done so many awesome things since I've been here, and I've seen more beautiful and historical buildings than I've ever seen in my life! This is shaping up to be a wonderful and life-changing experience. I hope that by reading this blog, you will all share in this journey with me. If nothing else, you'll get to see some beautiful photos and make fun of how much of a nerd I am!

Now as I said, I've done a lot since I've been here, too much to record in just one post. So I'm going to start out simply.

This is a picture of my room after I finished unpacking. The blankets are so warm and cozy!

This is the first dinner two of my flat-mates and I made: pasta and some bruschetta. It was great, even though we weren't all there. I actually have three flat-mates, and they're all wonderful! We have the only all-girl house in the program, and we love it! We've already had a few late nights because of some pretty awesome girl talk.

And last (for this post) but certainly not least, are some photos of the famous pub where C. S. Lewis and J. R. R. Tolkein used to sit and discuss their literary works and various other things. Though I have yet to go in, I was able to snap some pictures on my way back from Mass. I thought it would be good to take advantage of the nice weather.

Well, that's all for now. Expect photos and stories about Christ Church and other Oxford sites soon.

I love and miss you all!
